The Poetry of Fishing-Queenfish & Barracuda Lure Sea Fishing

Fishing is like the poetry of life. It's about passion and patience, or obsession to a degree.

Life is like a tight fishing line...you never know what you gonna get at the end of that line. It may end up glorious or it may snaps in the middle of the fight.

Queenfish is a pretty fast swimming fish with a lot of cardio. It can be acrobatic on the sea surface when it try to shake off the fishing hook. So its quite a scene to be enjoyed by the angler. But the decent size ones can really give that adrenaline rush when they do that long and strong dive.

Barracuda meanwhile is a very aggressive predator fish. They will smash anything that appear to be prey on their sight. The strength of the fight when hooked are vary and sometime the real fight only begin after they  are pulled close to the boat,probable the instinct to get away from the sight of a bigger predator, the human.

Enjoy this fishing experience with beautiful scenery around a tropical island of Borneo in the South China Sea,where its sunny all year long but can be very stormy during the monsoon.

Pond fishing for Monster Catfish.

 

Pond fishing for monster catfish is a good leisure activity during free time. It's relaxing where you are basically use bait and wait for them to bite, eating banana under the shade and watch other anglers around the pond landing up their catches. Contrary to our main game now,popping for Giant Trevally in open sea with wave and strong wind casting those big lures over and over again the whole day while standing trying to balance your body on the rocking boat. Of course the rewards are not the same.

Dogs picnic at waterfall

Dogs always have the courage to overcome their fear when they need to.

Pink loves chasing water when its pour down the drain. She think that the water is alive. So a big body of water like the river or waterfall seem like a big living monster to her.

Anyway,the virgin jungle and the crystal clear water at the waterfall in the middle of Borneo rainforest near Kuching,Sarawak is worth visiting for short picnic during the hot sunny day.

Fishing during full moon. Myth debunked!

Fishing during full moon is believe to be a bad idea since the fish will not biting or active as they normally are during the dark nights. Being silent and quiet also always been the tips to not spook the fish.

But in this fishing video, the nut cases of Team Belong were all against those beliefs and went out crazy all night long catching fish after fish(and half fish eaten by nocturnal hunter).

Anglers from different countries get together in Kuching,Sarawak,the Borneo part of Malaysia, to have fun fishing around Alor and Tanjung Dato area and booked a trip on a full moon night!
